the perfect hostess gift. the perfect cocktail party snack. the perfect DIY stocking stuffer.
smells amazing. tastes phenomenal.
a wonderful mix of sweet, salty & spicy.
for all of the above reasons and more I bring you....
Here's what you'll need...
3 tablespoons maple syrup (grade B)
3 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves
3 teaspoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 teaspoons sea salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
a pinch of cayenne pepper
1 lb whole raw cashews*
Here's what to do...
Heat the oven to 350 degrees (325 for dark or nonstick pans). Spray baking sheet or roasting pan with nonstick cooking spray.
In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, rosemary, brown sugar, paprika and cayenne pepper until smooth. Add cashews and mix to coat.
Pour the nuts onto the baking sheet and sprinkle with salt. Bake for 20 minutes or until the nuts are golden brown. Leave to cool. The nuts will crisp and harden as they cool
*Substitute cashews for almonds, pecans, or any mix of nuts.
five minutes of hands on time is well worth it!
My mouth is watering! I think is the perfect gift for my bosses, and I loved the container you wrapped up your nuts in. Totally borrowing this idea!
